Lagoinha has two business groups for men and women, and the members were paying using Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, cash, check, and IOU's. It was messy and difficult to send reminders and keep track of who paid or didn't pay. The crisis was reaching critical mass when members didn't want to bring colleagues due to the awkward ways in which dues were being collected.
Although Lagoinha is not a school, TuitionEP is built with the flexibility to accommodate any organization. District view allows for the two different business groups to have their own platform, and the leadership team can view at an organizational level how accounts receivable are working. Also, inviting guests was no longer a stressor for the group leaders or individuals. By providing a physical payment hub, users can tap or scan to make a payment for their dues. TuitionEP made this process frictionless for both members and leaders.
