How secure is the app?
TuitionEP uses the Stripe payment platform. Stripe has been audited by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Furthermore, anyone involved with the processing, transmission, or storage of card data must comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
Are there any fees associated when using the TEP app to make payments?
The app is free to download and there are no associated/convenience fees to use your credit card or bank account for payments.
Can users only make tuition payments through the app?
No, depending on what the institution offers, users can pay for child care, field trip fees, and other miscellaneous fees (in addition to tuition).
Can users change their payment method in the app?
Yes, this can be done via the payment screen.
